Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform clinical evaluations, screens, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based direct patient care in the rehab setting
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely, compliant documentation
• Ensure correct reporting of billing information for patients on your caseload
• Report and interpret treatment results to the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise support personnel and coordinate patient care with staff
• Develop and present in-service trainings and provide community education as requested
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home program strategies
• Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certification in accordance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required
• Active licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Missouri required
• Ability to safely lift, turn, move, and transport patients and perform minimal assist transfers (ability to lift/control up to 50 pounds)
• Strong clinical evaluation and treatment planning skills with attention to Medicare and insurance compliance
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
