Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and independence
• Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise with compassion and clinical expertise
• Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety and injury prevention
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe, professional clinic environment

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred) or equivalent qualification
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Experience or comfort working in outpatient rehabilitation and patient-centered care
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to complete a 13-week travel contract and participate in the 30-day onboarding

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Hands-on manual therapy and use of common rehabilitation modalities
• Proficient documentation practices and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Patient education, motivational coaching and discharge planning
• Time management and caseload prioritization in a busy outpatient clinic
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to build rapport with diverse patients
