Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based outpatient physical therapy interventions tailored to each patient
• Perform thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that drive measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary team for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Document care accurately and efficiently using Cerner to maintain excellent charting standards
• Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention and functional goals
• Adapt treatment plans for the occasional inpatient Saturday cases and ensure smooth transitions of care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience (explicit requirement)
• Active Physical Therapist license in California or eligible to submit (facility accepts license submission)
• BLS Certification required
• Comfortable treating primarily outpatient patients with some inpatient responsibility
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and ability to document in Cerner

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment skills
• Experience with inpatient PT workflow for brief Saturday coverage
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Excellent patient communication and education abilities
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinic
