Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for routine and advanced studies including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA head/chest and calcium scoring
• Operate and troubleshoot GE CT scanners and manage imaging workflow across two scanners/rooms
• Perform and document IV starts when required, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Review, process and archive studies using Synapse PACS and document care in EPIC Radiant
• Collaborate with radiologists and the radiology team to prioritize urgent studies and deliver timely results
• Maintain accurate patient records, complete required charting and follow departmental protocols
• Participate in orientation and department-specific training to meet facility expectations

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist — ARRT (CT) required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist — ARRT (R) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (hands-on experience with routine CT and CTA strongly preferred)
• Comfortable performing IV starts and working in a fast-paced acute care radiology department
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Able to be in-state for orientation week and submit a valid driver's license (60-mile radius requirement)

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent training (certificate/associate degree preferred)
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant charting systems
• Experience with GE CT equipment and standard CT protocols
• Skilled in CTA studies and cardiac/calcium scoring protocols
• Strong patient communication, triage and safety practices
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload (average 30–40 scans per day)
