Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Administer treatments and medications according to policies and protocols
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about care plans and follow-up
Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe care environment
Support quality improvement efforts by reporting observations and suggestions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California required
Current BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications preferred
Prior clinical nursing experience preferred, with per-diem or acute care experience a plus
Strong communication skills and comfort working independently during shifts
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid assessment and clinical judgment skills
Comfortable with electronic medical record documentation
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt during busy shifts
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and team members
Familiarity with basic emergency response and safety protocols
