Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support nursing team with bedside tasks and follow care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Help create a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (California) — required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Comfortable working overnight/night shift and in fast-paced settings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding assistance
• Vital sign measurement and monitoring
• Basic charting and familiarity with electronic documentation
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
