Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs and changes in condition
• Support the nursing team with safe transfers, bathing, feeding and toileting
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team about needs and changes
• Accurately complete required documentation and shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (active and in good standing)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work overnight/NOC shifts and deliver reliable per diem coverage
• Proof of required immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification (state-certified)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic nursing care and patient assistance techniques
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Basic documentation skills in electronic or paper medical records
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff
