Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient condition and report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene needs
• Support infection control and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Accurately complete required charting and shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and adapting to fast-paced clinical environments
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but new grads with certification are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care best practices and safety protocols
• Assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Infection control and hand hygiene standards
• Time management and prioritizing patient needs
• Collaborative communication with interdisciplinary care teams
