Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled telemetry nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring for assigned patients
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition promptly and effectively
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and act on abnormal findings in accordance with facility policy
• Float between units as needed to support patient care and staffing demands
• Work weekend shifts and provide consistent coverage during scheduled assignments
• Complete required Prime assessments and skills checklists to maintain full compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Support patients and families with compassionate education and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (verification via Nursys required)
• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification as listed in the posting
• Completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology, Prime Rhythm Interpretation, Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist and Prime Specialty Exam (per checklist)
• Ability to float between units and work weekends reliably
• Must meet all health and screening requirements prior to start and complete full compliance profile within two weeks of start

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Basic pharmacology knowledge relevant to acute care
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to perform under fast-paced, variable staffing conditions
• Familiarity with infection control and occupational health requirements
• Comfort with completing competency-based assessments and skills checklists
