Location: Redding, CA
Shift Type: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts (day); weekends required. Exact start/end times vary by facility and will be provided by the hiring manager.
Candidate Pay Rate: $119 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled telemetry nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring for assigned patients
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition promptly and effectively
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and act on abnormal findings in accordance with facility policy
- Float between units as needed to support patient care and staffing demands
- Work weekend shifts and provide consistent coverage during scheduled assignments
- Complete required Prime assessments and skills checklists to maintain full compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Support patients and families with compassionate education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (verification via Nursys required)
- BLS certification (required)
- DCI/BVP certification as listed in the posting
- Completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology, Prime Rhythm Interpretation, Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist and Prime Specialty Exam (per checklist)
- Ability to float between units and work weekends reliably
- Must meet all health and screening requirements prior to start and complete full compliance profile within two weeks of start
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN license
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Basic pharmacology knowledge relevant to acute care
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to perform under fast-paced, variable staffing conditions
- Familiarity with infection control and occupational health requirements
- Comfort with completing competency-based assessments and skills checklists
