Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4x10 Day schedule (typical shift 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), Monday–Friday coverage with one weekday off each week (typically Tuesday or Wednesday). Day shift; shift times may occasionally vary (examples: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). No weekends or major holidays required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including 3D mammography, using Hologic equipment when available
- Operate digital mammography systems and capture high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis
- Chart and document all exams and patient interactions in EPIC with attention to detail
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for adult and geriatric patients throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely interpretation and follow-up
- Maintain equipment quality assurance and adhere to ARRT and facility imaging protocols
- Support clinic flow by managing an average daily exam load (~15–18 exams/day) while keeping patient comfort and safety a priority
- Participate in orientation and training activities to stay current with procedures and facility expectations
Qualifications
- Active Washington state license (required)
- ARRT certification (ARRT (M) and/or ARRT (R) preferred) and BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required (2 years noted/preferred in some postings); first-time travelers are welcome
- Experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, and digital mammography
- Comfort working in an outpatient breast imaging clinic and collaborating with radiology teams
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in 3D mammography techniques and Hologic 3D equipment (preferred)
- Strong digital mammography and diagnostic imaging skills
- EPIC electronic charting and documentation proficiency
- Excellent patient communication and positioning skills for adult and geriatric populations
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and quality assurance practices
- Ability to manage 15–18 exams per day while maintaining high standards of care
