Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with attention to patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring images meet clinical standards
- Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control practices to protect patients and staff
- Accurately document procedures in the electronic health record and manage imaging records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to support timely patient care
- Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and required skills checklists per facility guidelines
- Support patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure education with compassion and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid state Radiologic Technologist license (License/Certificate Verification required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Demonstrated experience in diagnostic radiography or related clinical imaging
- Ability to successfully complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings including drug screen, fit test, immunizations, and TB testing
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent accredited training
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems for image management
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control standards
- Comfortable working independently during night shifts and prioritizing urgent imaging requests
- Attention to detail for quality image acquisition and accurate documentation
