Shift Type: 3x12 Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (three 12-hour night shifts per week; specific days vary by schedule)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert neonatal critical care in a Level IV NICU, caring for complex and high-acuity infants
- Manage advanced respiratory support including ventilators, oscillators and bubble CPAP
- Safely administer and titrate vasoactive drips and infusion therapies, monitoring hemodynamics
- Perform central and arterial line care including Broviac, IJ and femoral catheters
- Deliver pre- and post-surgical neonatal care including surgical wound management
- Collaborate with neonatologists, surgeons, respiratory therapy and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate changes in condition effectively
- Support unit needs by floating to PICU/Peds when census requires and participate in bedside education
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (pending licenses are not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required
- Current NRP, BLS and PALS certifications required
- Proven experience with ventilator management, oscillators, pressors and advanced neonatal support
- Experience caring for infants with central venous catheters, arterial lines, tracheostomy and stoma care
- Travel nurse experience preferred and travel assignment readiness required
Education
- BSN preferred; MSN a plus
- Active California Registered Nurse licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep knowledge of neonatal critical care principles and Level IV NICU practices
- Skilled in ventilator and oscillator management and advanced respiratory support
- Proficient in central line and arterial line care and complications monitoring
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
- Comfortable managing vasoactive infusions and titration protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to variable census and float to PICU/Peds as needed
