Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift); weekend coverage: once every two weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to develop individualized care plans
- Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery
- Coordinate care across disciplines and refer to community resources and rehab or long‑term care as needed
- Assist patients and families with Department of Children and Families (DCF) processes and protective services navigation
- Participate in care conferences and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
- Document clinical encounters and treatment plans accurately in Epic
- Manage involuntary holds (5150) and participate in development of safety and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active LCSW licensure (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) — required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical social work experience
- Charting experience in Epic (required)
- BLS certification preferred
- Comfort and experience working in outpatient, psychiatric hospital, or acute care settings
- Experience with biopsychosocial assessments, care coordination, and crisis/involuntary holds
Education
- Master of Social Work (MSW) and active LCSW licensure (typical requirement for clinical practice)
Knowledge & Skills
- Biopsychosocial assessment and development of treatment plans
- Individual counseling, marriage and parental counseling techniques
- Care coordination, discharge planning and referrals to community resources
- Knowledge of community programs (Medicaid, Medicare, AFDC, TANF, medication assistance, food stamps)
- Familiarity with adult and child protective services, guardianship and emergency detention processes
- Understanding of adoption/foster care issues and substance use treatment options
- Strong documentation skills in Epic and collaborative communication with clinical teams
