Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with attention to age and population specific needs
• Deliver cardiopulmonary procedures and respiratory therapies with accuracy and compassion
• Serve as Lead RCP during your shift when a supervisor is absent, managing department needs
• Maintain clear, timely care documentation and communicate changes in patient status
• Participate in required competency evaluations, specialty exams, and skills checklists
• Support infection control and staff health requirements including fit testing and screenings

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• License or certificate verification as part of onboarding
• Completion of prime core competencies, prime skills checklist, and prime specialty exam
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts and per diem coverage, including required strike dates
• Ability to complete required health screenings and vaccinations prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

• Respiratory care and respiratory therapeutic procedures
• Pulmonary diagnostic procedures and cardiopulmonary testing
• Patient assessment and age-specific clinical decision making
• Accurate care documentation and charting
• Infection control practices, fit testing, and occupational health requirements
• Ability to lead a shift in absence of a supervisor and coordinate department workflow
