Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess students' speech, language, fluency and voice needs using evidence-based tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals that make a real difference
- Deliver direct therapy to K-8 students and adapt approaches to a wide range of learners
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40-60 students with efficient scheduling and documentation
- Monitor progress, maintain clear records, and communicate results with families and the team
- Provide guidance on classroom strategies and support inclusion and communication access
Qualifications
- Active Colorado SLP license (as required by this position)
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Comfort and experience managing K-8 caseloads and school-based service delivery
- Able to work in-person at Grandview Mountain School (in-person candidates only)
- Strong organizational skills to manage a 40-60 student caseload and related documentation
- Warm, collaborative communication style for working with families and school staff
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of language development, articulation, fluency and pragmatic language strategies
- Experience with school IEP processes and special education collaboration
- Skill using data-driven intervention and progress monitoring
- Ability to design classroom-friendly supports and consultative strategies
- Comfort with varied student needs across K-8 and with caseload prioritization
