Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality radiation treatments using Varian TrueBeam linacs
- Operate ARIA v15 for treatment planning, charting and accurate patient record keeping
- Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging and verify patient positioning for precise treatment delivery
- Apply dosimetry principles and verify treatment parameters to ensure patient safety
- Respond effectively to emergencies and be familiar with crash cart/defibrillator procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Provide compassionate care to a wide range of patients including pediatric and geriatric populations
- Contribute to chart checks, quality assurance tasks, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Current OH state license (required)
- ARRT - Radiation Therapy certification (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience (at least 5 years preferred)
- Demonstrated competence on Varian TrueBeam and ARIA v15
- Comfortable with CBCT/kV/mV imaging, dosimetry, and emergency response procedures
- Experience with Epic/charting systems preferred
- Teaching hospital experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Varian TrueBeam operation
- ARIA v15 treatment management and charting
- CBCT, kV and mV imaging for patient positioning
- Dosimetry fundamentals and verification
- Vision RT and DIBH techniques (nice-to-have)
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and electron field treatments
- Familiarity with crash cart, defibrillator and emergency protocols
- Experience treating head & neck, CNS, pediatric cases and a variety of oncologic diagnoses
- Chart checks and electronic charting (Epic preferred)
