Shift Type: Monday-Friday, rotating day shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM / 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Day); Occasional Saturdays; Holiday weeks: four 10-hour day shifts (e.g., 4x10); Mobile assignments may vary with shifts between 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams with attention to image quality and patient comfort
• Operate digital and 3-D mammography equipment (including Hologic tomosynthesis) safely and effectively
• Provide compassionate patient education and communicate results or next steps clearly and respectfully
• Support outpatient breast center workflows and provide screening coverage at satellite locations as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records and imaging data
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and administrative staff to optimize patient throughput and care
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards including ARRT and Ohio Department of Health regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience (screening and diagnostic experience preferred)
• ARRT certification required (mammography specialty and/or ARRT advanced certification noted in posting)
• Ohio Department of Health mammography license required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Familiarity with Digital Hologic tomosynthesis strongly preferred
• Comfort working in an outpatient breast center and supporting satellite screening sites
• Reliable, patient-focused demeanor with strong communication skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent clinical training
• ARDMS/ARRT mammography certification (as required by employer/state) and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Screening and diagnostic mammography techniques
• Digital mammography and 3-D tomosynthesis (Hologic experience a plus)
• Patient positioning, image quality assessment, and radiation safety
• Outpatient imaging workflows and managing patient volumes (ratio ~10-15 daily caseload)
• Basic life support (BLS) and compliance with ARRT and state licensing requirements
• Ability to adapt to rotating day start times and occasional weekend/mobile clinic schedules
