Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient-centered physical therapy care across inpatient rehabilitation, swing bed rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain function and independence
- Deliver skilled orthopedic and, as appropriate, neurological rehabilitation interventions based on patient needs and therapist experience
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and achieve patient goals
- Document skilled services clearly and timely in the medical record and participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklists
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education to ensure safe transitions and ongoing recovery
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (state license verification required)
- BLS certification required
- Experience or comfort working in inpatient rehabilitation, swing bed settings, and outpatient orthopedics; neurological rehab experience is a plus
- Willingness to complete Trinity competency testing and skills checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks, including drug screen and immunizations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a rural hospital setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in orthopedic assessment and intervention techniques
- Familiarity with inpatient and swing bed rehabilitation protocols
- Knowledge of neurological rehabilitation principles preferred
- Effective documentation and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Time management and ability to manage a varied caseload
