Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care in an ambulatory pediatric clinic setting
• Administer pediatric vaccines and maintain accurate immunization records
• Perform CLIA-waived testing and phlebotomy (blood draws) safely and efficiently
• Triage, assess, and educate patients and caregivers about child health, preventive care, and follow-up
• Document visits and treatments clearly in the electronic health record
• Collaborate closely with providers and the care team to ensure smooth outpatient workflows
• Support clinic operations including patient flow, supply management, and quality improvement tasks
• Use bilingual English/Spanish skills to enhance communication and access to care for families

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Colorado (required)
• Minimum 5 years of pediatric clinic / ambulatory pediatric experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish required — please indicate on resume/CV
• BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Current flu vaccine required (no exemptions accepted)
• Experience with CLIA-waived testing, pediatric vaccines, and phlebotomy (blood draws)
• Comfortable working rotating schedules including occasional Saturday mornings

Education

• Active RN license (ADN or BSN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pediatric growth/development and immunization schedules
• Proficiency in outpatient/ambulatory clinic workflows and patient triage
• Hands-on skills: CLIA-waived testing and pediatric phlebotomy
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including bilingual patient interactions
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to educate caregivers and provide culturally sensitive care
