Shift Type: Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour day and night shifts (days and/or nights; rotating schedule). Specific start/end times vary by assignment and will be confirmed with scheduling.

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to med/surg and telemetry patients with attention to safety and dignity
- Monitor patients on telemetry floors and report changes in condition promptly
- Perform accurate, timely documentation of patient care and vital signs
- Support nurses and the care team during admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Serve as a sitter when assigned, maintaining patient safety and observation
- Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and feeding as needed
- Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-certified or eligible) — required
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience preferred, ideally in acute care or telemetry-monitored floors
- Comfortable working as a sitter when needed
- Willingness to work both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts and rotate between day and night
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring fundamentals and comfort with monitored patients
- Med/Surg patient care practices and acute care familiarity
- Safe patient handling, transfers, and fall prevention
- Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical assessment
- Clear charting and effective communication with nurses and providers
- Infection control and patient safety best practices
