Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care and rapid assessment to stabilize patients
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize time-sensitive interventions
• Initiate and manage treatments and medications per ED protocols
• Document all patient care accurately and timely in the EMR (Meditech 6.0 preferred)
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Respond to and manage 24-hour on-call situations, supporting continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (eligible to practice in Arizona or via compact licensure)
• Emergency Department nursing experience (night shift/12-hour shift experience highly preferred)
• Meditech 6.0 experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience strongly preferred
• Willingness and ability to take some 24-hour call shifts during the assignment

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
• Ability to stabilize and manage acute, high-acuity patients
• Proficient documentation and charting (experience with Meditech 6.0 is a plus)
• Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced ED environment
• Comfort managing multiple competing priorities during night shifts and on-call periods
