Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 12-hour nights. Specific days assigned by the unit (schedule varies and may include weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with St. Joseph Hospital policies
- Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac and clinical changes promptly
- Administer medications, treatments and interventions safely and accurately
- Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Collaborate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse and Unit Director to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Maine RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- MOAB or CPI certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and work well on a team
- Comfort working nights and adapting to a fast-paced clinical environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with hospital policies, infection control and patient safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow charge nurse direction
