Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and/or pediatrics as assigned
• Perform thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure seamless care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, plans of care, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Mexico licensure or compact RN preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
• Travel RN experience is a plus — adaptability and strong clinical judgment are highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while integrating into an existing team
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required facility background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Reliable documentation skills in electronic health records
• Time management and triage abilities in a fast-paced clinical setting
