Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the assigned area
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform regular patient assessments and report changes promptly
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate charts
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and self-care as appropriate
• Support facility policies for infection control, safety, and patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Must have reliable personal transportation (LOCAL ONLY requirement)
• Must be available to work both weekends as scheduled
• Must be able to secure own housing for the assignment (local requirement)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-focused environment
• Willingness to follow facility procedures and adapt to unit needs (no OT available for this assignment)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program and active LPN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills in medication administration and basic patient assessments
• Solid documentation skills and familiarity with electronic charting
• Infection control and patient safety best practices
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Collaborative approach to working with interdisciplinary teams
