Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policy
- Perform routine patient assessments and report changes promptly to the care team
- Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for patients
- Assist with patient education and family communication to promote recovery and wellbeing
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure (required)
- Recent clinical experience in a relevant setting preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Proof of eligibility to work locally as this is a local-only assignment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma/certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and documentation skills
- Familiarity with standard infection control practices
- Good time management, organization, and teamwork
- Comfortable using electronic health records and following care plans
