Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents on every shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and document interventions accurately and timely
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to develop and follow care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
• Support safe infection control practices and ensure a clean, respectful environment
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and smooth handoffs between shifts

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — must be in good standing
• Local to Albuquerque area — this role is local-only
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player mindset
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and managing multiple patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Solid charting and documentation practices
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety standards
• Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
