Shift Type: Variable 8-hour shifts; schedule varies across 7 days/week (per diem/open availability required)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures with care and attention to radiation safety
- Prepare patients for imaging exams, including explaining procedures and answering questions
- Acquire high-quality images and ensure accurate documentation in EPIC
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, following QA and safety protocols
- Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and physicians to deliver timely patient care
- Maintain required competency by completing exams, checklists, and specialty testing
- Adhere to infection control, immunization, and occupational health requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience (acute care experience preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- DCI/BVP certification as required
- Experience using EPIC or similar electronic health records
- License/certificate verification as required by facility
- Ability to pass drug screen, fit test, TB testing, and required immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar clinical documentation systems
- Comfortable working in acute care environments and handling diverse patient populations
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and QA skills
- Ability to follow protocols, complete competency exams, and maintain certifications
