Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM and 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM; Weekend coverage with shifts starting at 6:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 10:30 AM. Rotating shifts including weekends
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients of all ages
- Prepare and educate patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
- Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed to ensure exam accuracy
- Administer contrast media and follow age-related protocols and safety procedures
- Adhere to MRI safety standards and maintain ARRT professional standards
- Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and perform necessary image adjustments
- Operate, warm up, calibrate, and perform quality checks on MRI equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Assist radiologists with MR procedures and support departmental supervisory functions when assigned
- Operate hospital computer and PACS systems and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Perform routine quality control and equipment maintenance tasks to ensure consistent image quality
Qualifications
- 1 year of recent GE MRI experience required
- ARRT certification required (AMRIT will not be considered)
- BLS required
- Demonstrated adherence to MRI safety protocols and patient-centered communication
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with GE MRI systems and MRI imaging protocols
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contrast administration procedures
- Skill in patient preparation, positioning, and age-appropriate care
- Image evaluation and quality control expertise
- Familiarity with equipment operation, warm-up, calibration, and basic maintenance
- Comfortable using hospital computer systems and PACS
- Ability to assist radiologists and communicate findings or technical issues clearly
