Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT procedures to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis
• Operate portable imaging equipment in the emergency room and surgery suite when needed
• Provide procedural-related patient care and education with compassion and clear communication
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times
• Identify and address patient care needs, including language and cultural considerations
• Collaborate professionally with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support patient outcomes
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond promptly when needed

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field (required)
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (required)
• Kansas state radiologic license required or license pending at hire (must provide proof of application once offered)
• One year of radiologic/CT experience preferred; new grads will be considered
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Ability to work independently and be proficient in radiographic and CT techniques
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call weeknights and weekend coverage

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography and CT imaging techniques
• Portable imaging in ER and surgical settings
• Procedure documentation and recordkeeping best practices
• Patient education, communication, and compassionate care
• Familiarity with critical access hospital workflows and multi-department collaboration
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professional interactions
