Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document promptly
- Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes to the team
- Support activities of daily living and promote resident independence
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
- Maintain clear, timely charting and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (appropriate for Massachusetts practice)
- Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program for Licensed Practical Nurse roles
- Completion of an accredited ADN or BSN program for Registered Nurse roles
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and monitoring of patient status
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing practices
- Infection prevention and control procedures
- Electronic charting and clear clinical documentation
- Compassionate patient and family communication
