Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility protocols
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
- Document care activities clearly and promptly to support continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
- Participate in shift handoffs and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential
- Current, active license to practice as an LPN or RN (state licensure expected)
- Comfortable working a 12-hour day shift schedule (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a long-term care setting
- Compassion, reliability, and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
- Relevant state licensure for LPN or RN
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Ability to perform resident assessments and recognize changes in condition
- Proficient documentation practices and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and regulatory standards
