Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; every other weekend required (evening/day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to assigned patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions
- Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required
- Previous experience as an LPN preferred; experience in long-term care or med-surg is a plus
- Ability to work evenings and every other weekend as required
- Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program and LPN/LVN diploma or certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Patient assessment, vital sign monitoring and basic wound care
- Familiarity with common nursing procedures and protocols
- Comfort using electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation
- Effective communication with patients, families and the care team
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
