Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with attention to safety and dignity
• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and per facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and aftercare
• Support transfers, admissions and discharges with clear communication and coordination
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and participating in quality improvement

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license appropriate for practice (state licensure required)
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Previous clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical rotations may be considered
• Demonstrated ability to safely administer medications and perform nursing assessments
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts and collaborating in a busy clinical environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or equivalent) and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients, families, and team members
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation or willingness to learn quickly
• Medication administration and basic IV/line care knowledge
• Time management, prioritization, and the ability to work in fast-paced settings
• Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient-centered care
