Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients using evidence-based evaluation to identify needs and goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans that promote function and independence
• Implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and gait training
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists to coordinate high-quality care
• Document assessments, plans, and progress clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, home programs, and injury prevention
• Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans to ensure measurable progress

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Doctorate or degree in Physical Therapy preferred
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to provide compassionate care across a diverse patient population

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor or Master in Physical Therapy or related field accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
• Proficient with manual therapy techniques and functional mobility training
• Experience with balance, gait, and neuromuscular re-education interventions
• Familiarity with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong clinical reasoning and outcome-driven approach
