Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with compassion and attention to detail
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per orders
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team promptly
- Document care activities clearly to support continuity and quality
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient comfort, dignity, and education during their stay
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico (required)
- Current clinical competence and comfort working a long day shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Local to Santa Fe or able to commute — this is a local-only opportunity
- Available to start ASAP (within two weeks) per facility notes
- Reliable, professional, and committed to excellent patient care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
- Medication administration and vital signs monitoring
- Clear, timely documentation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Team-focused mindset and patient-centered approach
