Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and dignity
• Participate in care planning and contribute to quality improvement efforts
• Maintain clear, accurate patient records and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with medication administration, vitals, and basic wound care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Local candidates preferred for this local-only assignment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/VN) program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing care and patient assessment skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and infection control procedures
• Ability to triage concerns and escalate appropriately
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation and charting
• Compassionate patient-centered approach and effective teamwork
