Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Support interventional radiology and neuro thrombectomy procedures as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain accurate EPIC charting and documentation for patient safety and continuity of care
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips imaging and Merge hemodynamics/CPACS equipment during procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding professionally and promptly to urgent cases
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to ensure a high-quality, STEMI-accredited care pathway

Qualifications

• BLS Certification (required)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cath lab or cardiovascular invasive experience
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and clinical documentation
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities including every-other-weekend coverage and evening call shifts
• Ability to work in an acute care, fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment

Education

• BSN not required; appropriate cardiovascular technologist training or equivalent healthcare education and credentials are expected

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Knowledge of Interventional Radiology (IR) and neuro thrombectomy workflows
• Proficiency with Philips imaging systems
• Experience using Merge hemodynamics/CPACS for procedural data
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills in urgent care situations
• Familiarity with STEMI center protocols and rapid-response pathways
