Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients to promote comfort and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to reduce injury risk
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Dependable, compassionate attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous CNA experience is helpful but caring, trainable candidates are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Proficient in taking vital signs and observing/reporting patient changes
• Familiarity with infection control standards and safe patient handling
• Good documentation and basic charting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
