Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts to ensure safety and comfort
- Administer medications accurately and document thoroughly in the chart
- Perform focused patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to coordinate and escalate care as needed
- Provide clear, timely handoffs and documentation at shift change
- Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
- Support activity and ambulation plans and assist with ADLs as appropriate
- Communicate professionally with patients and families, keeping them informed and reassured
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) in good standing — ability to obtain Vermont license if not already held
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Weekend night shift availability and reliability — every weekend commitment required
- Ability to provide own transportation to/from facility as noted in the assignment
- Clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a strong plus
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Patient assessment, vital signs, and basic wound care competency
- Comfortable with electronic health record charting and accurate handoffs
- Good judgment, triage ability, and escalation when patient status changes
- Excellent communication and teamwork on night shift assignments
