Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the clinical team promptly
• Support meal assistance, hygiene care, and bedside comfort with dignity and respect
• Document care activities accurately and timely in facility records
• Contribute to a positive, team-first environment that prioritizes resident safety

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current basic life support (BLS) preferred or able to obtain if required by facility
• Comfort working overnight shifts and supporting a diverse resident population
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to providing person-centered care
• Local candidates preferred (posting notes: LOCAL ONLY)

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong bedside manner and effective verbal communication with residents and team
• Familiarity with ADL assistance, transferring techniques, and basic charting
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Time management skills to balance multiple resident needs during shift
• Comfort with infection control practices and safe patient handling
