Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents on night shift — your assessment skills matter
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team to adjust plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living and promote dignity and comfort
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication with staff and families
• Contribute to a safe, sanitary environment by following facility policies and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required — must hold or be able to obtain licensure to practice in New Mexico prior to start
• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Clinical experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills, dependable attendance, and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and bedside care with attention to detail
• Medication administration and accurate charting/documentation
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Time management for busy 12+ hour night shifts
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Compassionate resident-centered care and de-escalation skills
