Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for patients, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly, communicating changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures while assisting patients with transfers and ambulation
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance
• Assist nursing staff with care tasks as delegated, contributing to smooth clinical operations
• Follow infection control standards and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe
• Build positive relationships with patients and families through empathetic communication

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings
• Local candidates only — must be able to reliably commute to Concord, NH
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program (LNA) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and patient hygiene with respect and compassion
• Competent with taking and documenting vital signs and observing patient status
• Familiarity with basic charting and willingness to learn facility EMR processes
• Knowledge of infection prevention, safe patient handling, and resident safety practices
• Good time management, organization, and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm approach in busy clinical settings
