Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents’ condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Help maintain a clean, safe environment and support infection control practices
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through communication and empathy
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- State-required background checks and clearances
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable performing resident transfers and ADL assistance
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic clinical care and resident safety practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Familiarity with infection prevention and basic emergency procedures
- Compassionate patient-focused approach and good time management
