Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility and personal hygiene with respect and dignity
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Document care activities accurately and communicate handoffs to colleagues
- Promote a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Support resident mealtime assistance and maintain nutritional comfort
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and families to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Local candidates only (POSITION IS LOCAL ONLY as listed)
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM on Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat
- Flexible availability a plus to cover weekend needs during the assignment
- Professional, patient-focused attitude and good communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and support with activities of daily living
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Accurate documentation and charting of care provided
- Awareness of infection prevention and resident safety practices
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and team members
