Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Night shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with mobility, bathing, dressing, and toileting while preserving dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to reduce risk
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Accurately document care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
- Help create positive patient experiences through attentive, respectful interactions
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Dependable, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass facility-required background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe patient handling
- Measuring and documenting vital signs accurately
- Basic infection control practices and safe hygiene techniques
- Clear, respectful communication with patients, families, and team members
- Time management and ability to prioritize direct care tasks
- Basic charting and documentation skills
