Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care team members to implement care plans
• Deliver timely wound care and other clinical procedures as ordered
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
• Help foster a positive, respectful environment that prioritizes patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
• Completion of an accredited LPN training program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work the rotating 12-hour schedule (4x12 one week / 3x12 next)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Local to the Pembroke area or able to commute reliably (LOCAL ONLY)

Education

• High school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe dosage calculation
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Infection control practices and standard precautions
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
