Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day); plus every-other-weekend on-call rotation and a couple of evenings per week
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate nursing care in the cardiac cath lab and interventional suites
- Assist and support cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including neuro thrombectomy and IR cases
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data to guide patient care during procedures
- Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Serve on the on-call rotation (every other weekend and several evenings) to support emergent cases
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Prepare and maintain procedural equipment and imaging systems (Philips imaging, Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS)
- Advocate for patient safety, infection control, and best-practice protocols in an acute care setting
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in accordance with state requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (acute care/cardiac cath lab experience preferred)
- Cath Lab RN experience or demonstrated competency in cardiac catheterization and interventions
- BLS certification required; advanced certifications encouraged if available
- Familiarity with EPIC charting required
- Experience with hemodynamics and monitoring equipment; exposure to Philips imaging and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS a plus
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities, including alternating weekend coverage and evening call shifts
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN not required
- Current BLS certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional radiology workflows
- Proficiency interpreting hemodynamic data and monitoring trends during procedures
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record documentation
- Familiarity with Philips imaging platforms and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS
- Ability to function in a high-acuity, time-sensitive environment (STEMI center protocols)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
