Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that preserves dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Perform routine vital signs and basic clinical observations accurately
• Document care provided clearly and timely in the patient record
• Support a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new grads welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
• Good observational skills to notice changes in patient condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work as part of a team
