Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Support residents with personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting needs respectfully
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively during handoffs
- Contribute to a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required facility screenings
- Comfortable working evenings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Local to Concord, NH or able to commute (local-only position)
Education
- LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong hands-on patient care skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication and compassionate bedside manner
- Basic charting and documentation skills; accuracy matters
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to observe, report, and escalate changes in resident condition
- Team player attitude and ability to follow care plans
