Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care assisting patients with activities of daily living
• Perform routine tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Take and record vital signs, report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and support care plans
• Help create a safe and comfortable environment while following infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support excellent patient outcomes
• Support residents with dignity, respect, and a positive attitude every day

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and health requirements
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role including lifting and assisting patients
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Knowledge of infection prevention and basic hygiene protocols
• Proficient at taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Good observational skills to recognize and report patient changes
• Reliable time management and ability to follow care plans
• Friendly bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
